<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Hadith is the second main source of Islam after the Holy Quran. The study of hadiths, which serve as a commentary on the Holy Quran, is very important for every Muslim. In this regard, many scholars of Islam, including Tatar theologians, have made a great contribution to the study, preservation and dissemination of hadiths of Prophet Muhammad. The article deals with the collections of hadiths, which were compiled by famous Tatar theologians of the 19th – early 20th centuries: by Zarif Amirkhani, ‘Alimjan Barudi, Rizaeddin Fakhreddin. The purpose of the article is to show the sources and content of these hadith collections, which were used as teaching aids in Tatar madrasas. The study of these works contributes to the understanding of the significant role of Tatar theologians in the dissemination and development of the heritage of Islam in Russia.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>хадис</kwd><kwd>Cунна</kwd><kwd>посланник Аллаха</kwd><kwd>‘Алимджан Баруди</kwd><kwd>Зариф Амирхан</kwd><kwd>Ризаэддин Фахреддин</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>hadith</kwd><kwd>sunnah</kwd><kwd>the Messenger of Allah</kwd><kwd>‘Alimjan Barudi</kwd><kwd>Zarif Amirkhani</kwd><kwd>Rizaeddin Fakhreddin</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Калям Шариф.
