Статья посвящена описанию и анализу событий начала XIV столетия, когда владыка Самарканда, создатель мировой империи эмир Тимур, известный в Европе под именем Тамерлан, или Тимурленг, – «Железный хромец», предпринял поход на «Поднебесную» – китайскую империю Мин, которую спасла только внезапная смерть Тимура в самом начале этого похода.

The article deals with the events of the 14th cent., when the Ruler of Samarqand, Timur Leng started a military campaign against Chinese Empire (under the Ming Dynasty). The Empire was saved from conquest by the death of the “Iron Lame”.
