The role of cultural competence in the development of a bilingual individual

Abstract

The formation of a fully bilingual individual depends not only on the interaction between the native and studied languages, but no less important in this process is the interaction of two cultures. The culture of each nation is versatile and original. Cultural linguistics, gathers and organizes people’s knowledge influences the process of identity formation. Helps to determine the most effective pedagogical tools.
