Abstract
This article discusses the problems of teaching modern Tatar language, linguistic process within the Russian Islamic Institute. Examined the process of teaching students the Tatar language. Spotted and the necessity of ICT in education. The author proposes to actively use the ethno-cultural components, with the main characteristics of the linguistic training at the institute.
