Abstract
The purpose of this article is to describe some of the phonetic and lexical peculiarities of Arabic compared with other languages which should be stated and analyzed during the teaching of Arabic to non-Arabs. Understanding these peculiarities makes the process of learning the Arabic language easier, reveals its uniqueness and beauty, and cause interest in learning more about linguistical phenomena of the Arabic language.
